Getting to Adonis the easy way!

Alright I forgot who I told in guildchat maybe a week ago, but they didn't know of this little secret of how to get to Adonis until I described how to do it. Want to get to Adonis without getting wet? Don't want to take off your precious OB'ed back item and hate that fugly scuba gear? Then read on!

Alright, when you take the portal to Ado you know that you cross a bridge and go into a building. Most people just run straight ahead and go into that dreadful and deadly pool. Sure, it's somewhat easy to get through it, but why risk dying?

Upon entering the building, go NE (I believe - go straight then take first right) and just go straight out. You'll end up in a little area that is the Redeemed 'The Pool' statue area. Why take Redeemed? Well, theres a couple (2 to be exact) 140ish Redeemed guys that walk around that are pretty easy to kill. They drop insigs decently often so you can get probably 2 insigs off about 4-6 kills. Now it's time to get to your own statue.

Go back into the building. Yeah there's spirits and stuff in there that'll aggro you, but whatever. Run back SW but don't go back to the main hall. Look along the left wall for a door. In that door it's just a room with a lever. Hit that lever. The layout of the building changes. You now have a exit to the south. Go through it and turn right. There's another exit. Take it. Now you end up at the Unred Statue for The Pool! Hello Adonis Garden and little issues at all!

For random info the lever can be hit as many times with/without aggro or no time limit or whatever little glitches that you can think of so don't worry about that.

I'm not sure how well known this bit of info is, but since at least 3 people online when I described it didn't know I guess there has to be more than that. I hope the description is as clear as possible. Maybe I'll try to get a pic of the map layout up sometime.

Bump... this is a very good method.

Only caveats are 1) There are only a few mobs by the Red statue so if an insig doesn't drop right away you're sitting around for respawn, and 2) There is a Stray Dog hanging around there (ewww.)

Yeah.... took my doc about 8-10 kills using only UBT and DoTs at 135ish or whatever to get 2 insigs, while it took my Fixer 4 kills.

Since a fair few (but still vast majority do not) know about this path, about 2/3 of the time I go there or take that statue, there is no Stray Dog. Whether it was pulled off, spawns ended up in the water, or whatever, I just don't see it there quite often. Stray Dogs are nothing for almost any prof 190+ but certainly any TL7

Worked awesome for me last night. Dual logged my Keeper to clear out the mobs and worked like a charm! My Solja is now running around Ado doing the key quest. :D

Always glad to hear :)

It's not as necessary these days due to the Adonis quest starting with The Pool (and finishing it gives you an insig if I remember correctly), but if you're not able/don't care to do that part and avoid the Disgusting Parasites, then it's still a great route to use :D
