Launcher skin

So, work is quiet today and it's raining outside. What better to do than create my own launcher skin. First attempt so not all satisfied yet.

Thoughts ?

I like it.

We're doing a new one right now for the AOU mod, which got left entirely up to me and I have no idea where to start. You want to do it?

I would keep it simple. Maybe grab a screenshot from Rome or similar place where the city textures have similarity to the AOU webpage color scheme ?

Is the AOU logo just the font Impact ?

I have no idea what we want it to look like either lol

I'll have to check on the font when I get home. I have the logo to redo too but the font isn't changing as far as I know.

U got any good ideas for launcher skin yet ?

Would something like this be a raw idea (Rubi-Ka dual sun) ? Or would maybe a screenie from a city or so be better ? Or maybe just some abstract art ?

Here's a screen of what the new site (sort of) looks like, so going darker is good. The site isn't entirely finished, so this shot isn't a real representation, but the navigation is going to stay the same and the background of the main area

I mentioned that I was changing the logo.. the leets are going bye bye at least somewhat heh.

I tried making some skins with darked background. While it makes the launcher cool, it makes the text next to buttons unreadable. Do you know if the black text color can be changed to something else ? Button colors are easily changed with its own background image.

I'll check, but I don't think we can edit that. I know the current AOU Mod one has a kind of fade so that it is lighter towards the right.
